It was my pleasure to photograph Kylie and Shawn's engagement photos! The woods in their backyard were the perfect backdrop for the winter engagement. They are so happy and sweet together. We literally laughed all day long. Congratulations Kylie and Shawn! I am so happy for you!
Over the summer, I had the privilege of photographing another surprise proposal. I absolutely love these events. Seeing the shock, love and pure emotion of a surprise proposal is heartwarming to witness. On this day, Tommy led to Jen to Christopher Colombus Park in Boston under the guise of doing family portraits with his family so she was not surprised by my being there. His family was "late" so we started a few portraits of Tommy and Jen while we waited. Tommy walked Jen through the picturesque archway in the park while one by one his family and hers revealed themselves while reminding Jen of special memories they shared together. Jen was in complete shock and amazement. After making their way through the archway, Tommy steered Jen toward the rose garden where he had set up an acoustic band to play their favorite song. At the end of the song, surrounded by their families, Tommy got down on one knee and proposed to Jen. Smiles, tears and lots of hugs followed. It was a beautiful moment for all. It was my pleasure to be there to capture this day for you!
I recently photographed Kate and Bryan's engagement photos. We walked all around Boston to many of their favorite spots. Boston is always full of great backdrops and we even found a tree with a few leaves still left on it. I love these two and am so excited to see them start their future together! Congratulations Kate and Bryan!
This field is one of my favorite fall locations and I had the cutest couple to photograph in this recent engagement session. I look forward to working with these two next year at their wedding!
I photographed Samira & Mikail's engagement photos in Gloucester, MA this past fall. Hammond Castle turned out to be a stunning backdrop for an even more stunning couple! Samira rented her dress from Rent the Runway. I can't image a more perfect dress for her!
Karen & Matt both love sailing and Matt works at the MIT Sailing Pavilion, so we figured what better place to do their engagement photos! It was a sunrise shoot, but there ended up being no sun. The fog was thicker than I have ever seen it, but it made for a beautiful backdrop with the all colorful boats. Karen and Matt are getting married on 10/12/14, so they incorporated the boat numbers to make a great save the date picture! Congratulations Karen & Matt! Their dog Bella was also a great model!
I will definitely be making it a point to go to World's End park in Hingham more next summer! It is such a beautiful place. Nicole and Bill are an awesome couple and I am looking forward to their big day this fall!
I met Tiffany & Tim early this year for some engagement photos at Christopher Columbus Park in Boston. It was only 22 degrees but they were troopers and never once complained of the cold. The kept each other warm and were exceptionally photogenic. They were very affectionate and sweet with each other, as well as fashionable! I love the hats they added for some of the photos. Congratulations Tiffany & Tim!
My last engagement session of the season was with Kristin and Cody at Pier's Park in Charlestown. Living nearby, they have lots of memories here so the setting was perfect. I couldn't have asked for a more photogenic couple. Kristin, you are stunning & I love your style! I so look forward to your wedding this year!
